Emiliyan “spyleadeR” Dimitrov has parted ways with MK, the player has announced.

The move follow the team’s failure to qualify for the final day of Game Evolution 2016, a gaming festival that is taking place at Arena Armeec, an indoor arena in Sofia, after being defeated in Friday’s open qualifier.

In a statement to HLTV.org, Emiliyan “spyleadeR” Dimitrov mentioned that this defeat was just the tip of the iceberg and revealed that internal problems arose after the team’s victory at the ESEA Season 22 Global Challenge, in Katowice.

The 26-year-old added that he is currently assessing his options, with a decision due after he takes a short break.

“After the ESEA GC finals in Poland, our relationship was not good at all,” he told HLTV.org. “We did not communicate right, we did not practise not worked like before. Maybe this paved the way for where the team was right now.

“On top of this, yesterday we lost a local event, here in Bulgaria, which resulted in many insults towards me coming from dream3r.

“I have always supported and helped dream3r in the past, but with his attitude and actions he showed that he does not deserve it.

“This was the tippoing point, I decided to leave the team and play somewhere else. I am willing to play with everyone from the lineup in the future except for dream3r.

“I will rest for 5-10 days to clear my thoughts and decide what to do next. This time, I want to play for a team that can attend all tournaments, including Majors.

“Best of luck to nkl, v1c7or and bubble, even though we may not play in the same team. Thanks to all of my fans and supporters, you will see me playing again soon.”

The news comes as a huge blow to the Bulgarian team, who are on the lookout for a new organisation after parting ways with Orbit in July.

MK currently have the following quartet:

 Kamen “bubble” Kostadinov
 Simeon “dream3r” Ganev
 Viktor “v1c7oR” Dyankov
 Nikolay “nkl” Krastev
