PGL announce CS:GO Minor Championship Asia
PGL have revealed that they will be organising the CS:GO Minor Championship Asia.
Popular eSport event organisers PGL have announced a collaboration with eGG Network to bring you the $50,000 CS:GO Minor Championship Asia, a precursor tournament to January’s ELEAGUE Major. The event will feature a total of eight teams, composed of two invitees and six qualified teams. Contenders will be fighting for two slots for the main qualifier for the ELEAGUE Major, as well as a slice of the $50,000 prize pool. The LAN Finals of the CS:GO Minor Championship Asia will be taking place at the Pinewood Iskandar Studios in Johor Bahru, Malaysia on October 28th-30th.
The prize distribution for the CS:GO Minor Championship Asia:
1st place – $30,000 + Slot at Main Qualifier for ELEAGUE Major
2nd place – $15,000 + Slot at Main Qualifier for ELEAGUE Major
3rd place – $5,000
Renegades and TyLoo have received direct invites to the tournament. The remaining six slots will be filled by teams from China, East Asia, India & the Middle East, Oceania and Southeast Asia. Each of the regions is assigned a number of slots, you may find them below:
