1. The Tournament will support 16 Teams in Group Play followed by an 8-Team Single Elimination Bracket.
2. Teams will be seeded such that the #1 Team in each Group will be a Team that finished 1st-4th in the Cluj-Napoca Major. The #2 Team in each Group will be a Team that finished 5th-8th in the Cluj-Napoca Major. The #3 Team in each Group will be a Team that finished 1st in their Major LAN Qualifier Group. The #4 Team in each Group will be a Team that finished 2nd in their Major LAN Qualifier Group.
3. Each Group will be conducted as follows:
Match 1 = Team #1 vs. Team #4
Match 2 = Team #2 vs. Team #3
Losers Match = Match 1 Loser vs. Match 2 Loser
Winners Match = Match 1 Winner vs. Match 2 Winner
Final Match = Losers Match Winner vs. Winners Match Loser
4. Teams that win a Winners Match or Final Match in Group Play will advance to a Quarterfinal Match in the Single Elimination Bracket. The winner of the Group A, Group B, Group C, and Group D Final Match will be placed in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Quarterfinal respectively. The winner of each Group’s Winners Match will be randomly drawn into each Quarterfinal such that it is not possible for Teams from the same Group to play each other in the Single Elimination Bracket prior to the Final. Teams that lose two Matches in Group Play will be eliminated from the Tournament.
5. The winner of the 1st and 2nd Quarterfinal will be placed in the 1st Semifinal. The winner of the 3rd and 4th Quarterfinal will be placed in the 2nd Semifinal.
6. Teams that win a Semifinal Match will play in the Single Elimination Bracket’s Final Match.
7. All Group Play Matches will be Best of 1 Game except for each Group’s Final Match (Best of 3 Games).
8. All Single Elimination Bracket Matches will be Best of 3 Games.
