Denmark, Benelux, Russia and Poland WESG EU qualifiers have been finalized, as seven teams joined the Europe & CIS Regional Finals list.

The Polish qualifier featured both of the country’s top two teams,Virtus.pro and Kinguin. Filip “NEO” Kubski’s team advanced directly to semi-finals, where they took down Refuse without too much trouble, while Kinguin secured their place in the final with wins over pincsyt.plus and PRIDE.

The two then met in the final, supposedly for seeding purposes, and VP grabbed first place following a narrow Cobblestone and a one-sided Mirage.

dignitas placed first in Denmark’s qualifier

dignitas played the Heroic-free Danish qualifier with Philip “aizy” Aistrup instead of Ruben “RUBINO” Villarroel, as only single-national teams are allowed to participate in WESG, and came out on top by defeating Astralis in the final.

In the Benelux part, the victory went to a mix-team called dd, which includes LDLC‘s Belgian duo Kévin “Ex6TenZ” Droolans and Antoine “to1nou” Pirard as well as David “Davidp” Prince formerly of PENTA.

Russia’s qualifier also came to a close earlier today, with. Russia consisting of well-known players defeating USSR in the semi-final, while EYESPORTS bested NPME in the other.
