by Kia KahaAfter the ESWC Women groups announcement, the Regulation Committee released today the format and groups draw of the ESWC 2016 PGW CSGO Mixte final which will be organized from 27th to 30th October in Paris.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The ESWC final will be played in two stages. The first one is a bracket group composed of 8 groups of 4 teams. The winner bracket matches will be played in best of one format. The decider matches in the lower bracket will be played in best of three format. The best two teams of each bracket group will qualify for the next stage.
Thus, the second stage of the tournament will be a single elimination bracket between the 16 remaining teams. All matches of the single elimination bracket will be played in best of three until the final on Sunday afternoon.
The $75,000 of cash prize will be split between the top eight teams as following:
- 1. $20,000
- 2. $15,000
- 3/4. $10,000
- 5/8. $5,000
