Copenhagen Games has released the details on their upcoming €30,000 tournament that is set for the end of the month: March 23 – 26, 2016

The end of winter is in sight, which means it’s time for the annual Copenhagen Games, one of the longest running Counter-Strike tournament in Europe. This year, an increased €30,000 prize pool is up for grabs for an even smaller number of teams than last year, sixteen. This means that teams will be able to come home with larger slice of the pie than last year, which only had €26,000 and thirty-two teams. The event will kick off on Thursday, March 24th with the initial qualifier group stage matches of tournament, which exclusively features best-of-one matches in each of the four groups. The top two teams from each will move onto the main groups that begin on Friday, which they will have to deal with the eight invites of the event. Once again, the top two teams of the four groups will get a spot in the playoffs, with the quarter finals matches being played the same day. Saturday will see the semifinals and and the most exciting series of all, the grandfinals.
